I have been an active member of the Kildare/Newbridge branch of the Campaign Against the Household and Water Tax (CAHWT) from its foundation and I have opposed this unjust tax which seeks to bail out the international bondholders of failed banks and heap the misery on ordinary people.
I have vigoursly opposed our local politicians abject silence on this issue and I will continue to seek a reduction in the level of Property Tax falling on ordinary householders if elected to Kildare County Council
